Diane Bennett is an economics teacher at Lawndale High. She is voiced by Amy Bennett.

Personality[]

While usually more normal than her fellow faculty, Mrs. Bennett is prone to random bursts of insanity, like when distracted by stuffed animals at the mall (Malled) or manipulated by a fashion crew.

Physical Appearance[]

Dianne is a middle-aged woman with slight wrinkles on her face, slightly pudgy, with light brown wavy hair that is above shoulder length. She is seen wearing a navy long-sleeved collared button-down shirt, khaki skirt, and shoes. She also wears a yellow butterfly lapel pin on her shirt collar and a yellow bow in her hair.

Background[]

When teaching economics in class, Bennett's byzantine diagrams on the chalkboard resemble football plays, leaving practically all her students in a fog when trying to understand what she's writing.

She particularly enjoys giving real life economic projects to keep her students interested in her class, having them go to the Mall of the Millennium, or making them go through several economic situations in pairs.

Bennett also seems to be at least partially in charge of accounting in Lawndale High, as she is seen discussing this topic with Angela Li in Fizz Ed and Fair Enough. Based on Fair Enough, she shows forward planning with her budgeting—ensuring the library would be able to renovate its roof—but is unaware that Li is pilfering from the funds to buy more security equipment.

She appears to enjoy having Daria Morgendorffer as a student, and was inspired by one of her sarcastic comments to run a field trip in Malled.

Diane Bennett is married to a man named Herbert and both collect stuffed toys called Fuzzy Wuzzy Wee Bits, which seem to be a parody of Beanie Babies.

She is later seen in the same episode with a bag full of Fuzzy Wuzzy Wee Bits, implying that she stopped to buy them before meeting with the marketing executives.
