The Fremont Deputy is the deputy of Fremont and the father of Tina who acts as the main antagonist of the episode Speedtrapped.
Physical Appearance[]
The Deputy is a tall man with brown hair and black eyes who wears a navy-blue policeman's uniform. He is also shown to carry a pistol strapped to his belt.
Personality[]
Initially, the Deputy appears as a friendly, but stern, officer of the law who arrests Jane and Mystik Spiral for swerving. He was shown to playfully take Jane's suggestion that he be a bit more vicious and playfully said "grrr grrr", though he still arrested all of them after they had to pay the $100 ticket right away and didn't have the money.
Later in the episode, he was shown to have a strong sense of patriotism as he took Jane's incorrectly colored American Flag tattoo as an insult and decided to take her down to the Sheriff for some rough treatment which didn't come due to the Sheriff's love of Picasso.
His daughter Tina paints a better picture of him claiming that he's not always a jerk. As she explained, "when daddy puts on the uniform, he's a whole different person". This implies that he only gets fired up while on the job.
Overview[]
The Deputy pulls over Jane Lane and Mystik Spiral due to Trent swerving a few times on the road and gives them a $100 ticket. Due to them being from out of state, they need to pay it right away at the Sheriff's office. Since they don't have the money, he arrests them on the spot, throwing Jane into the female cell and Mystik Spiral in the male cell. Later in the episode, he throws Stan in the same cell as Mystik Spiral after arresting him.
After seeing Jane's incorrectly colored American Flag tattoo, he considers it an insult and decides to take Jane to the Sheriff for some rough treatment. This ultimately fails due the Sheriff being a big fan of Picasso and hiring Jane and Mystik Spiral to help out at his daughter Madison's party.
Later, he is seen releasing Sally who he on good terms with due to her being a regular of his. Shortly after she leaves, Daria and Quinn show up to bail out Jane and Mystik Spiral and he tells them that they are with the Sheriff.
Later at Madison's party, Jane mentions that it was tough due to the Deputy, and apologizes to Tina for referring to her father as a jerk. Tina tells them that its okay, as her father is a completely different man while in uniform.
