Penny Lane is the middle child of the Lane family, the older sister of Jane and Trent.
Penny is very disillusioned with the "American Dream," having spent the last ten years (as of See Jane Run) out of the country. She was a student at Lawndale High as a teenager, where she "educated" in competetive spirit by the P.E. teacher, Ms. Morris.
Her only major role on the show was Lane Miserables when she and the other Lanes converged on their childhood home, her homemade craft stand having been destroyed by a Costa Rican volcano. She has a parrot named Chiquito who is very annoying.
